The Clavering Players

The  Drama Group of Clavering has been rehearsing at Clavering Village Hall since 1945, with a change of name to the Clavering Players in 1959, so our association goes back a long way!!! The Players has gone on to be one of the most well-supported drama groups in the area, usually producing two plays a year and the much-loved Christmas pantomime!! We are lucky to have a great regular cast and crew from many surrounding villages & from every age-group, and many  of our performances have been recognised for awards from NODA. We are always looking for new members in either on-stage or back-stage capacity, so please come and join us!!

Find more details of forthcoming productions on our website www.claveringplayers.co.uk or by contacting Rachel Betts on 01799 551878.

Clavering Horticultural Society

The society holds two main shows and normally one outing a year to visit some of this country's stunning gardens. We also participate at the village fete and hold a fund raising jumble sale. We sometimes host other ad-hoc events such as talks on gardens or gardening.

The society prides itself on encouraging all people of all ages and horticultural ability to participate in our shows, enjoy meeting fellow villagers, and enjoy the benefits of local produce.

We welcome either your participation or support at our events and committee members are happy to provide guidance on exhibiting at our shows.

Membership of the society entitles you to discounts at local businesses and on orders from Sutton Seeds.
