Facilities
Clavering Village Hall is positioned in the center of the village opposite the cricket pitch. It features a large car park that borders the Jubilee Fields. The Hall has a Premises License to serve alcohol, a well-equipped kitchen and can accommodate 100 people seated or up to 200 standing, all making it an excellent venue for private parties, weddings and charity events such as quiz nights.




CAR PARK & ACCESSIBILITY
Clavering Village Hall features a large car park [45m x 35m] that is offered with the booking.
Wheelchair access is available from the car park via the well-lit front door entrance. There are two Blue Badge parking spots near the front door. An accessible toilet facility is available to the right of the front door and also to the rear of the hall. No dogs except guide dogs and licensed assistance dogs are permitted in the Hall.

INDUCTION LOOP SYSTEM
An induction loop system to assist people with hearing loss is fitted in the main Hall (the loop does not extend to the bar area).

MAIN HALL
The main hall space is approximately 14.3m x 7.6m with wooden flooring and a large curtained stage to the front. The bar lounge, kitchen serving hatch and chair storage room flank the main hall space.
STAGE
For those wishing to hire the Hall for a band or entertainer, the curtained stage is 4.6m x 3.7m (15ft x 12ft) and has a full PA system with a wired and cordless microphone.

VESTIBULE & ENTRANCES
The hall features a double-doored vestibule area which is accessible from the car park. There is a bell at the front door for use by late arrivals and approved visitors. The vestibule has two large bathrooms plus a separate accessible WC with baby changing station. There is also a double-doored entrance with steps from the car park, to the side of the hall in front of the kitchen, with laminate flooring and measures 5m x 4m. There is also a door to the rear of the hall, providing easy access to the Jubilee Fields.

KITCHEN
The Hall has a large, well-equipped kitchen measuring 3m x 5.5m with a serving hatch and contains:
• a large Range cooker
• a fridge
• Water urns, kettle, microwave, bin
• Large double sink and draining board
• A handwash station
• Crockery, cutlery and glassware
Hirers are required to provide their own dish soap, bin liners, tea towels, washing up sponges, chopping boards and carving knives.
SERVING BAR
The Hall has a hatched bar area with a large glass fronted fridge, sink, small freezer for ice and a collection of glasses that can be used.

BAR AREA & FURNITURE
The carpeted bar area is 7m x 4m. There are 9 small tables and 12 black leather armchairs.
TOILETS
The hall features two large toilets at the front of the hall with multiple stalls, plus a separate an accessible toilets WC with baby changing station. There are also two recently refurbished single occupancy WCs to the rear of the hall, one being equipped to be accessible.
TABLES & CHAIRS
The Hall has folding tables [10 tables measuring 1.5m x 0.75m] and folding chairs to seat 100. A chair trolley is provided.
CHAIR STORAGE AREA
There is a large side room featuring bi-folding doors with safety glass that can be utilised if the folding chairs are removed. It is carpeted and measures 3m x 8m. There is a piano and selection of low armless chairs.
PIANO
There is an Upright piano which is tuned annually.
HEATING
The Hall is heated by radiators. Please note the Hall is not heated in-between bookings.
CLEANING MATERIALS
Mop, vacuum, broom, floor sweep, various cleaning solutions.
