Cubs are girls and boys aged 8-10.5 who love having fun and adventure. We have wide range of weekly meetings in the village and surrounding areas taking part in. If you would like to join our pack then please get in touch.
Cost: Termly subs of £40 per child
Contact: Matt Elliston matt.elliston@claveringscouts.org.uk
Join Cubs for: outdoor adventures - camping, hiking, building dens, creating rafts
- creative and cultural pursuits - making things, telling stories by torchlight and learning about global issues
- learning new skills - cooking, first aid and developing character skills like integrity, initiative and confidence
- working as a team - participating in challenging activities and helping others
- earning badges and awards - everything from athletics, astronomy, photography and pioneering
We love trying new things, supporting our friends and challenging ourselves. We have sleepovers and camps, where we have slept in an aquarium, a zoo and tried high ropes, abseiling and caving. If you are a young person we sometimes have a waiting list so please put your name down before you are 8. If you are an adult then we would love to have you join our group - we are always grateful for more helpers and its lots of fun, where you get to do lots of things you wouldn't normally do on a Tuesday evening. When else do you have the chance to sleep under a shark tank or jump off a parachute drop?
